A Week in Review

It was another good cooking week, though I didn’t stick to my schedule completely {which is fine with me}.

Chicken stir fry

Turkey burgers

Pulled pork sandwiches and French fries

Beef stew

Pumpkin {and chocolate chip} scones

We also ate an amazing dinner here. We had a restaurant.com gift card, and it was so worth it! We’ll definitely be going back on a Tuesday soon, for their gourmet grilled cheese night. Yum!

I’ve been planning out my menus for the past few weeks, and it’s really made my life a lot easier. Here’s what’s on the menu this week:

Sausage risotto

Chicken fajitas

Spaghetti squash with pesto

Pork tenderloin and asparagus

We saw Blink 182 {with My Chemical Romance} last night and they were amazing! It was their last show of the tour, and you could really feel how into it they were. I’ve seen them before, and I was just as impressed this time. I’ve only heard their newest single from their new album, but I really only didn’t recognize two songs. They played songs from every other album they’ve had {plus a special one from the Mark, Tom, and Travis show…}. It was such a wonderful night, with my amazing friends and husband and brother, and a delicious dinner {and drinks}.

I’ve already checked something off of my Fall bucket list! I had a ten dollar off coupon to Kohls that expired on Saturday, so I bought myself a new sweater. It was really hard not to get an adorable pair of burgundy shorts, but buying shorts in the middle of October {even if I do live in California} seemed really irresponsible. So I found this beautiful sweater by Lauren Conrad. She really does have the cutest stuff. And, it was only $17!

Lastly, I’m thinking of doing another vlog soon. Anything you want to ask, leave in the comments below, or email me!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend too!

so glad to hear that you had such a good time at the blink show! i've always wanted to see them live. and bravo on planning out your weekly menus. when justin & i get married, that is definitely something i want to try to keep up with. i think it would just relieve so much stress to know what we'd be having for dinner, since it's always something we're trying to decide...

i love the LC sweater - such a nice, rich color & i love the detailing. yay for checking items off of your bucket list!

have a lovely week <3

Love that sweater!! I had the same coupon for Kohls but completely forgot to use it!

Hmmm...my questions....what is your favorite thing to do when you have free time? how did you and your husband meet (if you haven't already answered this on here!) and what's your all time favorite tv show?

What a cute sweater! That's so funny because last night I was STUCK in traffic near the Hollywood Bowl, and it was Blink 182 playing. (Obviously, you know that haha). It was insane. I am LOVING the leopard nails from your last post, btw!
