So, it's Friday, aka my favorite day of the week.
It's also time for Friday's Fancies! This weekend is Labor Day, so it's only obvious that I needed to put a Labor Day outfit together for all of you.
But I'm doing things a little different this week.
I'd like to call it...Friday's Fancies, Joelle Style.
You've all seen what I would do if I had an unlimited budget, but this week I'm going to give you an outfit that I really would wear on my real life budget.
And let me tell you. I know how to budget.
Now, for the first {and probably last} time, I'm going to do some math on this little blog here. Keep up if you can.
Original price: $34
Price I'd pay: $10
I'd save 70%
How I got there: This adorable Lauren Conrad top is on sale at Kohl's for $20.40 and I just got a coupon in the mail for $10 off any purchase.
Original price: $69.90
Price I'd pay: $20
I'd save 71%
How I got there: It's pretty obvious that I would have to wear white pants on Labor Day, and these are a steal from Express for only $20. They are clearance for $39.99 and they are having a Labor Day sale for an extra 50% off of their clearance items.
Original price: $89
Price I'd pay: $28
I'd save 69%
How I got there: These Nine West shoes are on sale at Macy's for $33.37 and this weekend they are having an additional 15% off of all sale and clearance items.
Original price: $98
Price I'd pay: $30
I'd save 67%
How I got there: This cute Jessica Simpson bag is on sale at Macy's for $35.99 and this weekend they are having an additional 15% off of all sale and clearance items.
Total price for the entire outfit: $88
Impressed? So am I...
My mom is pretty much the biggest bargain shopper I know, and between the two of us we were able to find my {brand new} wedding dress, originally $1,200, for $100. We both save, on average, about 60% at the grocery store. And neither one of us will typically buy clothes unless they are on sale and on clearance. We're good like that.
Hope you all have a fabulous week and I can't wait to check out all of your Friday's Fancies!
xoxo,
Joelle
