I wrote an entire blog post about how I need help with the book I'm writing, but I don't think I'm going to post it. I think I worry too much about what people think and that isn't healthy. Or smart. It's my book, and I should write what I want to write without the comments of so many detached people...that isn't to say that you are detached, just that there are some who would comment that would be detached; those who aren't necessarily concerned with the writing process, or that it's coming from me, just the logistics of the story and how well it's written.
That being said, I would love to have a dialogue with anyone honestly interested in what I'm writing (and what I've been writing for over two years now). Not just for feedback's sake, but something that will inspire me to actually continue. If you are interested in that, please email me.
Writing can just be so lonely sometimes.

That's awesome that you are writing a book! That takes guts! I'd love to hear more about it! I'm a big fan of people following their gut. It's also awesome that you are willing to admit, that you wouldn't want any crappy comments. Go you!
Also, do you do graphic design?
You got this!! I know you can do it, and I know your book WILL be great. You are a writer, Joelle. I pray you find the confidence and motivation you need to continue :)
xoxo
Love you!
You are writing a book! Wow! This is a great news! Love it already!
And being scare is more than normal. But you know there will always be people judging you around - let them be they don't deserve a look.
Think about the many friends and other people who would love to read your story - I am sure you can do it!
I would definitely love to hear more about it.........Take care and all the best!
Have you ever heard of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month)?
Every November a whole lot of us, each one with our own crazy reasons, sits down to write a novel of 50,000 words. It doesn't have to be finished and no one has to see it (though you can upload snippets of it) but the aim is to write 50,000 words by the end of November.
For me, it's about the only time I write...although I often then get the bug to continue!
It's a really great experience and I'll tell you why; to write that much you can't be worrying about if it is well written or worry on about minor details, you just have to let it all pour out. You can edit it later or decide to scrap it and never let the world see it again!
Obviously what you are writing is really very important to you, but sometimes if it's becoming difficult it can be helpful to step aside, so why not whip up an idea for November to blast into? I promise you it will give you a whole new perspective on the writing process when you have to hit that target! And given the number of people who do this, I can promise you it will be far from a lonely experience. The community is absoloutely thriving with people who want to help and talk about writing.
It may help, or it may not anyhow. Just thought I would sugest it :)
