Happy Monday friends! Hope you all had a great weekend. Robert and I got to spend a lot of time together these past few days, drinking wine and meandering around the farmer's market. I'm always so thankful for weekends like this, where I get to enjoy the life that we've created for ourselves. And that brings me to this week's mantra!
For me, the why is my future, and the future of my family. It's no secret that I do want to start a family in the next few years, and it is so important that I'm able to care for my children, both financially and by being present. I'm building a company based on the values that I want to instill in my family, and I'm building a life that will (eventually) allow me to stay home to raise my children. Not only that, but I do what I do because I love creating beautiful things, and giving others the wedding of their dreams. That's what makes it all worth it.
What's your why?

It's true! Sometimes I work so hard sometimes, and I just forget the reason why I'm doing it all. I don't know that it makes the hard work less hectic, but it definitely gives me a reason to work harder ;) Thanks for stopping by Petra! xoxo
I haven't seen it! I love TED talks though, so I'll have to go check it out. Thanks!
It's so true! It goes along with one of my other favorites: "Take pride in how far you've come, and have faith in how far you can go." Sometimes, you just have to take a step back and think about where you were at in the beginning. It makes it all seem so much more impressive! xoxo
