Monday's Mantra

Oh goodness, a week off! Pretty much exactly what I needed these past few days. I've been pretty sick for the past week, which sucks. Thankfully I've had the Vampire Diaries to keep me company, and I only have a few episodes left before I'm caught up. I haven't been this addicted to a show in quite a while - it's kind of a problem. 

Anyway, I'm hoping to get back to life this week, though I know I say that every week. I think I've realized something though...it's all about the baby steps. I have always been one of those all or nothing type people, but that just can't work for me any more. I need to be thankful for the steps that I do take, even if they are small sometimes. I can be sick, that's just part of life, but I can't feel guilty or bad because I can't get things done. And if I want to change something, it doesn't need to be changed at once. Life is a series of baby steps, and we should be proud and thankful for each one we take.
