Happy Friday to all of my wonderful and beautiful friends! What are you drinking today?
I think I might have my husband make one of his fabulous margaritas for me tonight. I haven't had one in a few weeks, and it sounds really delicious {even at 7:45 in the morning...shhhh, don't tell anyone}.
Anyway, I'm just sitting here at my desk waiting for 4:00 to come around. This week has been stressful, to say the least, but I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. I guess it's true that time really does go by faster when you're having a good time.
On Wednesday night my husband and I met my brother for dinner in the Valley. My brother drove up from Orange County, and my husband drove all the way down from Santa Barbara so that they could go to a freerunning gym. We decided to stop at Brent's Deli for dinner. We had never been before, but I saw it on Yelp and remembered watching it on Food Network's Best Thing I Ever Ate {love that show}. We got the Black Pastrami Reuben and it was wonderful.
Yesterday, while waiting for Robert to come home from work, I felt like I needed to get out of the apartment, so I went to Barnes and Noble to look around. I needed some more writing books to keep me inspired and motivated, but when I got there, I decided to pick up The Time Traveler's Wife. I had never read it before and had always heard how good it is. I'm a sucker for the seriously romantic, and so far this isn't disappointing. I'm sure I'll get sucked in soon, but as of now I can still put it down. Have any of you read it? Did you like it?
I don't think it will be the perfect romance that I'm looking for. I don't think I'll ever find it, until I write it myself. So there's my motivation.
This weekend I finally get to throw my party! I am so very excited for it {though how we are going to fit so many people into our little apartment, I have no idea...}. We are going shopping after I get home from Trader Joe's today to buy all of the yummy snacks and desserts, and we've already stocked up on bar supplies {read: gin and vodka and tequila and wine} from the new BevMo that just opened. I can wait for tomorrow night, and to take pictures so that I can share them with all of you!
Anyway, here are a few of the things I've found this week that I want to share:
There's just something about Napa weddings...
I'm not a big poetry person, but I. Love. This.
Gorgeous. Inspiring. Breathlaking. Love it.
I've worn my new jacket twice this week. Just can't get over it.
I want to know what inspires you to dream.

We do happy hour all day on Fridays. Because it's five o'clock somewhere, right?
What are you drinking today?
Happy Hour is my weekly blog party, where we get to meet new friends, find new blogs to read, and destress from our week. We're all busy ladies and sometimes we just need to get out with some friends, chat, and have a drink.
How to enter the party:
- Must be a follower of Love is Home to participate. If you aren't already a follower, just click that "follow" button over there to the right.
- Scroll down to the bottom of this post and click on the link to enter.
- Add your blog's information and button.
- And you're done!
How to play:
- Write a post about anything you want to write about. Do you need to vent about a stressful week? It's okay, we all have them and that's what we're here for. Vent away. Did you have a fantastic day? We want to hear about that too. Or do you have big plans for the weekend? You know what to do...
- Visit two other blogs linked below and leave a comment, saying that you are from {Where We Love} Happy Hour.
- Come back and leave a comment below telling us who you visited and any wonderful new blogs you found.
But there are some rules...
- Don't post and run...that's not cool. And if you do, your link will be deleted.
- I thoroughly dislike "copy and paste" comments...you know, the ones that say "I'm a new follower from Happy Hour, I would love for you to follow back..." blah blah blah. Don't do it, please. I don't want to have to delete a link for doing that either. The purpose of this is to find new blog friends and support each other. We like authentic followers, ones that actually enjoy our blogs and aren't blindly following a bunch of blogs in hopes that they will gain more followers.
And if you want, you are welcome to use one of my buttons in your post!
Much love,
