Robert and I have only been married for a little over a year, but we’ve been together for almost eight years. I’m by no means an expert on love, but I like to think I’ve picked up a few things along the way.
Here are a few things I have to say about love…
You’re partners. Trust each other. Support each other. And don’t keep score.
Put your cell phone down when you’re together,
but keep it next to you when you’re apart.
Wear lingerie.
Don’t go to bed angry.
Surprise each other.
Love something together.
Dance everyday.
And always kiss each other goodnight.

The wear lingerie thing is so right on... My husband was really excited about my Halloween costume--which was, admittedly, a little scandalous--and when I asked him why he liked it he said it was because I "never wear anything sexy." And, while that may be a stretch, it is true that I have slacked in the lingerie department post honeymoon. Anyway, his comment made me realize that men really do care about that stuff, no matter how long you've been together.

I think this is all great advice. I'm going to take a few of your pointers, especially not going to bed angry. I tend to do that haha. But we still always kissed each other good night regardless. Also, adorable picture. Love it!
