It’s Tuesday, and it’s time for coffee. I know it’s been a while, but I’m back. For this week, at least.

If we were having coffee today, I would tell you that I finally made new pillows last night. I got my sewing machine from my mom last year {as in, 2010} for Christmas, but I probably haven’t touched it in at least six months. Our throw pillows on the couch were getting dirty though, and so I made some new ones. Finally.

And apparently, Olive has claimed both of my new pillows for her own.

I made the white one from an old {read: ugly} sweater, and the second from some fabric I picked up last year. They don’t match, but I don’t care. I think they’re cute.

And now, because I love you {and because I love my dog more}, here’s some entertainment for your Tuesday:

My dog is terrifying.

If we were having coffee today, I would tell you that I really, really, want March to be here. Like, I don’t know if I can wait through February. There’s just so much fun stuff happening in March, and I want this next month to just disappear. This whole waiting thing {among other things} is making me really anxious too. I’m anxious to actually start working with clients {which I am, I know…I have a wedding next weekend, but things could still be better…}; I’m anxious to do it full time; I’m anxious about using this blog for big, important things; I’m just. anxious. And it sucks.

I know it will get better. But that doesn’t make right now any easier.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I’m happy though. Very happy. I’m finally happy with the mini-makeover I gave to our apartment this week. I really am happy with my business. I’m incredibly happy with my husband {I don’t know that I tell you enough how much I truly do love him}. And I’m happy with my life. Well, most of it anyway.

If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you that the picture up there makes me happy too. Because I love peonies, and sometimes we need the little things in life.
