I was putting together a summer essentials post about sundresses, but I wasn’t really all that motivated to write. So, you get the personal me today.

1. A few weeks ago, I got rid of 80% of my clothes. Rebuilding my wardrobe has been pretty fun, since I’m finally discovering my style of clothes. There are a lot of stripes and polka dots in my closet right now.
2. I’m working on my marketing right now, and am really excited about it all. I think taking the time to be personal with my clients and potential clients really sets me apart. A few things that I’m working on: potential client packets with lots of information and yummy caramels, macarons once they sign the contract, and flowers after the wedding. What do you think?
3. I have a wedding today, and I’m scared. Wish me luck.
4. If you’ve followed my blog for any amount of time, you know that I have a weird obsession with being organized. I go through phases of feeling organized and unorganized, and right now I’m feeling the latter. I’ve recently signed up for Basecamp and Highrise, which I love. But I want one task manager that integrates with both. Also, I am ridiculous and have my expectations set way too high. Suggestions?

Haha, I feel you - I also have phases of feeling organized and unorganized - but I like the latter ones better, because I looove re-organizing stuff. I reorganized my closet a few weeks ago, but wasn't as good as you - I probably left out of the closet only about 1/4 of my clothes. :)

Can you believe I've never had a Macaron?!?! I see pic's of them all the time, and have yet to come across one! If I ever do, I can't wait to try it!!! Good luck with your Wedding today <3

you look so beautiful with that top knot and polka dot shirt!! gorgeous. good luck with your wedding today!! i used to work at a wedding reception center (have i mentioned that 8 times here yet?) and i would always get super nervous when the "big" weddings came up... luckily i wasn't in charge of running the wedding, i got to leave when the wedding began. you definitely have one tough job that i'm sure tests your organization skills like mad! maybe save some of those macaroons for you on these kind of days? :) xo
Love the stripe dress-too cute! Wow, you got rid of 80% of your closet? I don' think I could do that. While I'd love to get new clothes, I'm not sure I could part with stuff I have. I just like to add to it. Ha
