Yay for Friday! And yay for my second week of Five Things!

I’m just a little obsessed with bows, so I got really excited when I found this tutorial for a DIY bow belt on Momtastic from the Sweetest Occasion.

This post is kind of like a kick in the stomach, but it’s a definitely eye opener too. Reading it made me realize a lot, and made me realize that I need to change some things around here. It’s a slow process, but it’s happening. Or I’m trying, at least.

I’m sure you’ve heard of the Everygirl by now, so I’m sure you’ve seen this post. Their career features are definitely my favorite features on the site, and I especially loved Elaina Vasquez’s story. It amazes me how creative some women are, and I really look up to anyone that can build something so successful at such a young age.
