Yay for Friday! And yay for my second week of Five Things!
These are five things I’ve learned throughout the week, posts that really spoke to me, or just interesting articles that I’ve picked up along the way. I hope you enjoy!

I fell positively in love with everything about this gorgeous wedding on Style Me Pretty, especially the beautiful bride’s incredible dress.

I’m just a little obsessed with bows, so I got really excited when I found this tutorial for a DIY bow belt on Momtastic from the Sweetest Occasion.

This post is kind of like a kick in the stomach, but it’s a definitely eye opener too. Reading it made me realize a lot, and made me realize that I need to change some things around here. It’s a slow process, but it’s happening. Or I’m trying, at least.

I’m sure you’ve heard of the Everygirl by now, so I’m sure you’ve seen this post. Their career features are definitely my favorite features on the site, and I especially loved Elaina Vasquez’s story. It amazes me how creative some women are, and I really look up to anyone that can build something so successful at such a young age.

Because I’m still super excited about it. Not all that excited about mean people leaving comments, but that’s okay.
Happy Friday everyone!

Don't let the nasty comments get you down!! Your piece was wonderful, and you should be so proud =) Another blogger I know was featured on Huffington and dealt with harsh words herself...Her post may be of comfort to you: http://dans-le-townhouse.blogspot.com/2012/07/my-first-experience-with-negative.html
Some people have nothing better to do with their life/time than comment on websites with nasty words. You're a rockstar, ignore the rude comments!
What a cute post and cute idea for a feature. I really enjoyed it :)
Much love from Horses of Ares <3
Thanks Carrie :) I'm trying to get thicker skin about all of this, but it's hard when you put yourself out there! I really liked your friend's post though. People are just mean trolls sometimes!

Thanks my dear! I had a really bad experience recently with negative comments about my blog, and I realized that this is very true...I just need to ignore it :)
