In case you don't already know...

Today is Cinco de Mayo, and that fact in itself warrants a margarita after work. You all know my love of margaritas, and I know that I posted this recipe a few months ago, but seeing as today is the perfect excuse to drink tequila and eat guacamole, I decided I need to share it with you again!

My husband, if you didn't know, is an aspiring bartender, and created {I won't say invented, because I've had basically this same margarita at restaurants} this deliciousness just for me! And while he is going to be gone until late tonight, I've watched him make it enough times that I think I just might be able to make it on my own tonight.

Mr. Husband's Delicious Margarita Recipe

1 1/2 oz. Tequila
3/4 oz. Cointreau
3/4 oz. Lime Juice
A splash of cranberry

Shake and serve on the rocks. Tonight, I might go crazy and actually blend mine, but don't put salt on the rim. Well, you can, but I think salt is gross...

I'm going to pretend that's sugar on the rim. Even if it doesn't usually go on a margarita, sugar makes everything better.

If you're feeling extra adventurous tonight, add a splash of orange juice too. It will make it that much better, promise.

I'll probably be drinking these margaritas with some del Taco tonight. You know, real Mexican food, since the husband is going to be gone. I'm excited.

And don't forget that tomorrow is Happy Hour! I had sixteen people link up last week, which is awesome! Let's see how many we can get this week.
