Things My Husband and I Argue About Most

How to peel potatoes

I use a knife, and cut off half the potato in the process. He uses a potato peeler and takes twice as long as I do. Priorities, people.

Our future children

More specifically, their names {I say Henry, he says Thor} and whether or not they will be leash kids at Disneyland.

How to fold {and hang} clothes

Again, speed is important when it comes to housework. It takes me approximately 6.37 seconds to fold a shirt {fold in half and then half again}. It takes him 18.52 seconds {fold the shirt in thirds so the front shows, fold in thirds again}. He says it decreases wrinkling. I say it takes too long.

We also hang up our clothes in opposite directions. Our compromise? We hang up our own clothes.

My tendency to eat too much candy

When it comes to sugar, he treats me like a five year old. Probably because I've been known to gorge myself on chocolate when he's not looking and then cry of a stomachache later on.

Whether or not I steal the blankets at night

Considering I wake up every morning with the blankets on his side of the bed, I think I'm right on this one.

Love you Robert.

these are awesome! My husband says I put the dishes in the dishwasher weird and says I steal all the covers as well.

"Thor" seems to be a crowd-pleaser among the men these days...

This made me laugh. Sean totally wants our kids to have leash's while I'm against it...we argue about it all the time. Ridiculous.

the guy on BT Vancouver news in the morning, who does the entertainment segments, is named Thor. For him it is short for Theodor :) maybe you can compromise :)

hahaha!!! Henry and Thor (I vote for Gunner and Colt) and whether or not they will be on a lease at Disney World HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Oh man, two boys in, ask me about that one :)

wait, you are married and your husband folds his own clothes? GET OUT! My husband has me brainwashed to think that it is my DUTY to do all his laundry. hmmm.....

my husband always tells me that he is "helping" me when he points out what I am eating is bad for me. um, "thanks"

i'd...never think of naming my kid thor...not that it's bad or against my morals (LOL) but really? i just saw the movie in theatre! it's too much to live up to!! ;)

also, henry is really cute.
at least the latest one i've seen.
he may or may not be the only henry i've met. -- http://miraclesdontbreakthelawsofnature.blogspot.com/2011/06/birth-photography-and-story-henry.html

Thank God, my partner never goes against me with the names I choose for our child. haha

But I guess I also have to track down things we argue about. hahahaha But important thing is that we love each other and you and your partner love each other. =)

Folding clothes is #1 on my list of favorite argument topics with my husband!! I happen to think I do it "the right" way and he think he does it "the right" way ;) Sigh. Love is so romantical!!

We argue about cover-stealing too--when I am hogging the covers (hey it happens!) it is my fault but when J is hogging them, the blankets magically get weighted down on his side by themselves :)

I love the name Henry too but J is worried people will call him Hank. He likes very traditional names except for Piper. Which is far from traditional and let's just say with our last name doesn't exactly have a ring to it...haha
