{friday’s fancies}

Happy {almost} St. Patrick’s day friends! In California, we don’t really celebrate the holiday too much, but this year I’m in Chicago and hopefully things might be a little different! I’m looking forward to seeing river dyed green, and maybe drink a green beer or two.

Fridays Fancies

{coat, dress, necklace, purse, shoes}

To be honest, I’m not really the biggest fan of the color green, for clothes at least, and I almost didn’t even do a St. Patrick’s day inspired outfit. But then I saw those shoes and changed my mind. Aren’t they fabulous?! Kate Spade can do no wrong, I say.

What are you doing for St. Patrick’s Day?

{I’m currently out of town right now, so I won’t be able to answer comments for a while. But, if you’d like, feel free to follow me on Twitter or Instagram while I’m gone!}

Joelle, this outfit is absolutely beautiful! I love navy and green together and you created a perfect pairing. The shoes tie in so well with the dress and the jacket...which I am swooning over! Fabulous job :) I hope you have enjoyed your week and wishing you a wonderful St. Patty's Day!

Things will definitely be different in Chicago! St. Patrick's Day is a very big deal there and I'm sure you'll have a blast!!

Word to the wise (or adventurous) - things get especially festive in Lincoln Park, near DePaul, where there are quite a few Irish pubs :)

SO jealous that you get to see the river green!! That is definitely on my bucket list - and I can't wait to see pics! The coat is the PERFECT addition of green, by the way! I hate wearing a lot of green on St. Patrick's Day, so it's perfect that you can kind of take it off whenever!
