This is perfect. I think with the hustle and bustle of working, family, friends, blogging, and attempting to be a good wife it's so easy to put yourself on the back burner. I think we ladies often feel selfish when putting ourselves first, but in the long run, we are able to give such a better side of ourselves when all of our needs are met! I know on the days I take the time to shower, make myself a healthy breakfast, fit in a walk, and do something I enjoy I'm so much kinder and gentler with those around me. xo! e
my mantra is be grateful for every day. it's so easy to get caught up with the little things (and some of them are legitimate concerns), but in reality, not everyone is fortunate to have a second chance. most of us, we can get a good night's sleep and make tomorrow better. for some, it doesn't matter, tomorrow looks like the day before.
A mantra I read today is one I wrote down to keep with me always: "I am worth it and I love myself. Fear, you don't belong here." I've been repeating it several times a day. It's slow work, but work that is so worth it. Sending you some love!

this is great! It's so easy to be our own worst critic sometimes and this is awesome to remember :)
