The Bathroom and Closet

These two rooms are very important in my house, and it’s taken me a very long time to figure out exactly what I want for these two spaces.

The master bathroom is not only a functional place, but a place for us to relax and destress. I imagine our bathroom to be big and open, with plenty of windows.

We will have a long counter with multiple sinks, so we don’t get in each others way, of course.

It will have a skylight, to let in natural light during the day and so we can see the stars at night.

There will be a beautiful clawfoot tub, right in front of floor to ceiling windows that open up so we can feel the nearby ocean breeze.

And a massive shower with multiple shower heads...

I’ll need a fluffy robe, so I can pretend that I’m at some fancy spa or hotel.

Eucalyptus is my favorite scent for the shower, so I’ll have some pretty smelling soaps and scrubs.

As for the closet, it will be fabulous. And big. Plenty of space for my shoes.

It will have a built-in vanity somewhere so that I can get ready in the mornings.
