An Introduction

Seeing as today is the first of the month, I wanted to do something a little bit different. I'm sure that many of you already know who I am and what this little blog here is all about, but I've noticed so many new names {and faces} around here recently that I want to do a re-introduction post.

So, without further adieu, my name is Joelle, and this is my little blog. I"m so very happy that you all have found {and continue to read} Where We Love is Home! You can read all about me and my eccentricities on my About Me page, if you'd like {And if you've been here a while, I hope you like my new design!}.

I like to write about quite a few different things on this little blog, including, but not limited too...

Other favorite topics: food, wine, {my} writing and book, pretty things, pretty places, California, baby giraffes, shopping, Glee, inspiration, dreams, random thoughts, and In-N-Out.

If you're new here, there are probably a few things you should know about me and my blog.

1. I love description, but have the unfortunate tendency to use the same adjectives and adverbs repeatedly. I'm particularly fond of the term "exceedingly {fill-in-the-adjective}" right now. Don't worry, I subscribe to word of the day, and hopefully I'll be able to wow you soon with my impressive descriptive vocabulary.

2. I overuse commas. I apologize in advance.

3. I've been known to write exceptionally {<---- love that one too} sentimental posts, bringing my readers close to tears with my eloquence and inspirational words. It's okay if you cry too. I won't tell anyone.

4. I have a slight addiction to Pinterest and We Heart It, two of my favorite places to find beautiful pictures and quotes, such as this one:

5. I love my readers, and have found some amazing friends through this little blog here. I try my hardest to respond to all of your comments, but even if I don't get to answer every one, please know that your support and encouragement is what not only keeps this blog going, but helps to make me happier than I've been in a very long time. So, thank you!

That's really all  have for you today. Remember to follow me on Twitter and like Where We Love is Home on Facebook!

Much love,
