I know that I say it every week, but happy Friday! I hope you all have plans with family for the Easter weekend. Robert and I are going to be driving down to Orange County tonight to be with our families for the holiday. Tomorrow I’m just ridiculously busy, so there isn’t a whole lot of excitement there. But I am excited to go back to my home church and celebrate the holiday with everyone. I haven’t had a chance to go back to the church I grew up at for a while {probably last Easter, to be honest}, so it will be fun to see everyone.
This week’s Friday’s Fancies, then, are obviously dedicated to the holiday. I usually do buy a new Easter dress, but I failed on that part this year. Well, I’ve failed as of now. I have been known to go shopping for an entire outfit at the last minute, so I can’t guarantee that I won’t have a brand new Easter dress for Sunday.
I did go in a different direction with the whole Easter outfit for this one though. I do usually like the whole floral and sweet thing, but I thought of creating something a little more sophisticated this year. And it might seem a little boring? But it really is my style, and I kind of love it!
What are you up to this weekend? Traveling anywhere exciting?

I love your outfit. I love the simplicity of the dress with the fun necklace to add some spice! I didn't get an Easter dress either. I just packed and will actually be wearing a cream lace dress. It's finally time to wear whites! I'm headed to San Angelo, TX to see my in laws. Have a very Happy Easter with your family!!

YES! That coral dress is fantastic! And it goes great with those nude pumps! Have a lovely Easter weekend!
I love these colors! Nude heels are my favorite. We're actually spending Easter just the two of us, which hopefully will be fun, since all the other holidays we've celebrated we've been home with our families. I need to decide on something to make!
Not boring at all...I think it is very classy and love the color! Happy Easter!
xo,
Great choices...I love those BCBG pants!! Have a great weekend, little sis! Enjoy your time with the boy!! LOVE YOU! Happy Easter
This couldn't be boring if it tried! So chic and classy, perfect for you :) I'm excited to shop my closet for Easter Sunday - we're staying in town, but after church, T has declared he's making ME dinner. Aw ;) xoxo! eliza
I am in love with that entire outfit!

Oh soooo pretty love the color and style of that dress! Happy Easter!
It's a beautiful outfit and not boring at all! I love the colour of the dress and the shoes and bag match perfectly. You would look amazing in this outfit over Easter... I think you should sneak in a quick shopping trip :) xx
so pretty! Love the color with the neutral, and gorgeous necklace.
GORGEOUS outfit! Happy Easter weekend! :)
love that coral color, I seem to buy a lot of it every time this year.
OK even though this is floral week, this one would have tp be my favorite. I went shopping this weekend, and this color ended up in my shopping bag more than it probably should have. This is GORGEOUS! In love with it - perfect for spring!
I love that you went more formal. My entry was very casual, daytime, get-brunch-and-go-thrifting, so it's nice to see a different perspective! Living in Portland, I don't see nearly as much dressiness as I'm used to. :)

Loving bold statement necklaces and nude heels - two must haves this spring!
