{five things}

I hope you all have had a wonderful week! Mine was...eventful, to say the least. I woke up on Tuesday to my poor husband in pain, and I had to take him to the ER. Let me tell you, I really do not envy him and his kidney stones right now...

Other than that, there's just been a lot of driving and preparing to welcome my new intern on Monday! I've been really excited about the possibility of bringing someone else onto my team, and with all these weddings I've booked for 2013, this is the perfect time. I can't wait to introduce her to all of you soon.
Getting her desk and paperwork ready!

As always, here are my five favorite links from the week...

1 // The Alt recaps are everywhere these days, but Lisa's posts have to be some of my favorites.

2 // Speaking of Alt, it's coming to San Francisco! Now that, I can do. Maybe I'll see you there?

3 // If you're attending a wedding any time soon, you should probably read this

4 // I've never been really good at thrifting, but these tips for vintage alterations make me want to try again.

 5// This wedding is whimsical and fun and I kind of love it.

Have a great weekend friends!

You seriously need to come to ALT SLC next year and then we can play while you're here!

Oh no! I hope he's feeling better soon. Kidney stones are absolutely horrible!!

One of the things that suck about being a Canadian blogger is not being able to take part in a lot of these blogging conferences. I'll live vicariously through you if you go to Alt!

I'm so sorry about your husband! What a scary way to start the morning. Congrats on the new addition to your team though. Can't wait to hear about it :)

Thanks Ley! He's doing alright now, but it still hasn't passed (TMI? Sorry...), so we'll see how he's doing in a few days. And I'll definitely post about it if I go to Alt (crossing my fingers!). xoxo

I want to SO BADLY. Seriously, so badly. How far away from the conference do you live, do you know? Visiting you may give me another excuse to actually go :)
