{sparkling french gimlet}

So, it's no secret that I like sparkly things. That includes champagne, of course. And it being almost Valentine's Day and all, I wanted to come up with something sparkly and a little sweet to drink.

I love gin (has to be Hendrick's or Bombay Sapphire), and we still have a bottle of St. Germain (which is amazingly delicious, if you've never tried it).  Shake them together with a little lime juice, add a splash of champagne, and you've got my new favorite drink. Seriously. I used a pink champagne because why not? I love pink. And it's Valentine's Day. Duh.
My husband is actually making me dinner on Valentine's Day (he's making something called sexy time steak...), so I'll have to let you all know how it goes (the steak, not the...sexy time). If it's good, I'll definitely have him share it with all of you! And maybe I need to create a few more V-Day cocktails for you all to try...what do you think?

What is your favorite Valentine's Day cocktail?

That is so sweet! This year I won't be able to spend V-day with my boyfriend. The cons of long distance relationships...

Just want to make sure I have this recipe straight, Hendricks, St. Germain, Lime Juice, Sparkling Rose? Sounds delish.

Ooo this looks yummy! My favorite drinks are either pink or involve champagne, and you did both!
