My Party

I had a party last night. It was fun.

I’m getting pretty good at baking. But I’m not so good at remembering to take pictures. Here are the only photos I have from the night, before anyone showed up.

My iPhone apparently didn’t even want to take good pictures for me. I apologize.

I’m kind of impressed that I managed to make 3 different cupcakes and 2 batches of rosemary bread yesterday. I pretty much spent my entire day in the kitchen.

We used last night as an excuse to stock our bar. Pretty impressive, right? Belvedere, Patron {and 2 other types of tequila}, Jamaican Rum, Peach Schnapps, Gin, Cointreau, 2 types of Vermouth…We’re not alcoholics, my husband just likes to play bartender.

Aren’t the flowers in the last picture pretty? My husband and brother brought them back for me after I sent them to the grocery store for the third time to get something I forgot to tell them to get the first two times.

I’m off to relax on my uneventful Sunday morning and afternoon. I hope you are all having fantastic weekends.

Much love,

LOL, there's no shame in having a full bar stocked with liquor. bf likes to play bartender at his house or whenever we have a gathering at someone else's house. between his house and mine, i think we can serve booze for an entire year! haha okay, that's an exaggeration, but people usually rely on us to bring booze on gatherings :)

your cupcakes look so cute and delicious. i wish i was patient enough to cook/bake. i can cook and bake, just not patient to do it. :(

I found your blog through For the love of blogs and then remembered my friend Carrie (life of the liles) mentioned loving your blog. Thought I'd stop in and say hi! Looks like a fabulous party. :)

A fully stoked bar is so nice if you have a bartender in the house. I love to try new things and when everything is already on hand WHY NOT!! *sigh* one day when i win the lottery!! i'll entertain just like a 70s house wife lol!
