{monday's mantra}

I apologize for all of my melodrama last week. Sometimes I just get in moods, but I'm sure you've realized that by now. This week will be different. I promise.
I'm so tired of feeling stressed and sad and anxious. I'm really, really tired of it. So, this week, I'm making conscious effort not to feel all of these things. I want to get back to fun things and happy things on this blog. Here's to a good week.

What's your mantra this week?

Joelle, we all have those weeks! Thanks for simply being honest. I think it's so easy to just put our "happy, "perfect-DIY," "fashionista," etc. moments on blogs. I so appreciate you just being yourself. I like your mantra for the week, mine will be simple: "Take a moment to look around, life is wonderful!"

Perfect mantra! Glad you are feeling back to your normal, happy self :)

glad you're taking steps to get back into a good place! it sounds silly, but sometimes just TELLING yourself firmly that you will have a good week can help - try saying it in the mirror every morning! it might work :)

Take care and be kind to yourself. Don't push yourself to hard. Sometimes, all we need to do is relax.

It's true...we definitely deserve a break sometimes :) And I'm working on the not-pushing-myself-too-hard thing haha...

Thanks Betsy :) Sometimes, all I have to do is make a conscious decision to have a good week, and I do! Hopefully it works this week :)

Thanks Maggie! I always try to put my true self out there, which is why blogging is such therapy for me, I suppose :) And I love your mantra! That's definitely something we all need to do more often. xoxo

It sounds like you have the same problem as me, where you constantly feel like you're in a race to complete your goals. Sometimes I exhaust myself. But, life is not a race! :) I have to remind myself of that all the time! Xo
