Do you listen to Podcasts?

If you answered yes, I just have to tell you about two of my new favorite podcasts. You've probably already heard of them, and if you haven't listened yet, I highly suggest that you do.

Joy the Baker is a fairly well-known food blog. Not only does she create some of the most delicious baked goods that I've ever seen {hello Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread}, but she's pretty funny too. And she and her co-star, Tracy from Shutterbean, have a really good dynamic. Listen. And laugh. Promise.

I actually listened to their most recent podcast on my way to work this morning, and they gave some really good tips about blogging.

Joy was actually one of the co-founders of Homefries, a website dedicated to podcasts for simple living, wine, food, parenting, and entertaining. And while I haven't listened to Simple Mom {for obvious reasons} or The Table Set {I do have those episodes waiting for me}, I really love The Crush podcast. It's a wine show, but isn't too stuffy or old-fashioned. The hosts, Whitney Adams and Christina Pickard, are hip and funny, and do a really good job of balancing the basics of wine, for those who aren't very familiar with wine {yet}, and delving into more complicated topics. They also talk about different wine regions of the world and other types of drinks. I'm waiting impatiently for the next episode to come out, and I'll probably listen to it as soon as it does.

Do any of you have podcasts that you would recommend? I commute thirty-five miles to and from work every day, so I have quite a bit of alone time that I wouldn't mind dedicating to learning something new. Right now I'm really into homemaking and entertaining blogs and podcasts {don't judge me}, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know!

And thank you all for your well wishes yesterday. I started to feel a whole lot better in the afternoon, and actually got a few things done. Maybe I just needed a day off, because I got up earlier than usual today and did my hair for the first time in a long time {read: months...}. But I really do appreciate the sweet words and thoughts.

Love you all!

You know, I haven't tried listening to a podcast yet, but I've been meaning to give it a try. I imagine it being a lot like listening to an audiobook, though, which I'm a fan of. :)
