Happy Hour!

Happy Friday my dear, dear friends! I hope this short week has treated you all well. Even though it was a short week for me, it still dragged by so. freaking. slow. Needless to say, I'm pretty happy that it's the weekend.

Tonight my husband and I are going to treat ourselves to a nice dinner at Wood Ranch, so I think I'll be drinking a raspberry mojito. What are you drinking tonight?

Tomorrow I have my very first wedding client! I am her day-of coordinator for her small beach wedding in Santa Barbara, and I'm very excited! If not a little nervours...I have the rehearsal this afternoon, so I'll let you all know how it goes!

We don't have any plans for Sunday, but I think we might go shopping. I got that awesome Old Navy Groupon yesterday, and I really want a pair of white pants for the summer. The husband needs some new clothes too, especially since he has a grown-up job for the summer and doesn't have enough ties. I caught him last week wearing a navy striped shirt and a purple polka dotted tie. It was sweet, but I think it might be time to get him a few more things...

Anyway, here are a few pretty things, wedding edition, to get you through your Friday. Enjoy!

I don't have any Friday's Fancies today. I browsed the internet for about two hours today, trying to find the perfect navy striped dress, but I couldn't find anything I liked! Maybe I should be a clothing designer {along with event coordinator, creative writer, and domestic goddess, of course}. If I find something I like, I'll post it over the weekend.

And lastly, here's some inspiration for your Friday:

We do happy hour all day on Fridays. Because it's five o'clock somewhere, right?

What are you drinking today?

Happy Hour is my weekly blog party, where we get to meet new friends, find new blogs to read, and destress from our week.  We're all busy ladies and sometimes we just need to get out with some friends, chat, and have a drink.

  2. Scroll down to the bottom of this post and click on the link to enter.
  3. Add your blog's information and button.
  4. And you're done!
And if you want, you are welcome to use one of my buttons in your post!

Much love friends,

That mojito looks really tempting. Can you believe it that I've only had mojito twice in my life? Haha! x

okay, someone posted on fb yesterday about that old navy groupon and since i didn't see the actual ad, i'm not sure who is right. but i thought i'd share anyway:

"apparently" this particular groupon ad states that when you purchase the coupon for $10, you get $20 worth of merch. BUT in the fine print, it also states you need to purchase $10 worth of merch in store. -which means you've essentially spent the same amount of money, $20. like i said, i didn't actually see the ad, but i just wanted to pass along the infin in case it was true.

also- check j crew at the outlets for great ties. my boyfriend and i were there a couple months back and i think all the ties were like $20.

sometimes the outlets actually have good deals. sometimes.
