hi there! it's jillian from cornflake dreams and i am thrilled to be guest posting for miss joelle while she is on her blog sabbatical. as joelle knows blogging takes up a lot of time - so when i am not working on cornflake dreams, or other graphic design work i try to spend my free time away from the computer.

i live in chicago and like everyone else in the midwest we take our summer months seriously. after what seemed like a never-ending winter and a blizzard i appreciate the sunshine and warm weather of the summer months. this year i have been spending a lot of time outdoors riding around on my new bike and crossing things off my summer bucket list. i've also noticed in my activities in my free time depend on who i am spending that time with-- my fiance, friends or myself. here's a quick list of my favorite ways to relax::

bike, netflix, popcorn, record, brunch, nail polish, nap

a huge thank you to joelle for inviting me to guest post! feel free to stop by cornflake dreams anytime for daily fashion, travel and design inspiration!

what do you like to do in your free time?!

Long afternoon naps are definitely on my list of things to do when I'm by myself! I also like to go and read at Barnes and Noble in their cafe and treat myself to a chai latte :)

I took a long nap Sunday evening. It felt amazing just to sit back, relax and not have to worry about anything! Definitely need to try a mudmask in the near future ;)

Nice to meet you, Jillian!

I like watching old reruns of my favorite TV series such as The OC and Bones! :) Well, on inspirational days, I make random cards or sit down with a book and a cup of hot chocolate. Very laid back. Or rather, lazing around. x

Ah, love! I also live in Chicagoland and you're spot on about taking our summer months seriously! Summer is precious up here :) I also made a summer bucket list - but it's much less cool than yours! My last summer adventure post (Taste of Chicago, Resale Clothing, etc) is here. I am totally checking out your bucket list to get more ideas! Yay!

Thanks for sharing! I'm about to become your newest follower :)
