Virtual Coffee

Happy November! Can you believe October is already over, and Thanksgiving is our next holiday?! I feel like I need to start Christmas shopping already.

If we were actually having coffee today, I would be meeting you at Starbucks. I’m impatiently waiting for their Christmas cups {and their peppermint mochas} to make an appearance. Hopefully I will be drinking out of their pretty red cups soon, which means that I will probably be there every morning this week.

If we were actually having coffee today I would tell you that Robert and I have officially implemented grilled cheese day in our home. We had friends over on Friday and I finally decided to make some gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup for dinner. We had four different types of sandwiches:

Gruyere with caramelized onion spread and prosciutto on rye

Brie with apple on cinnamon bread

Swiss with avocado and bacon on sourdough

Three types of cheddar on white

We both agreed that the first was delicious, and we had it again last night for dinner! Trader Joe’s roasted red pepper and tomato soup is the perfect accompaniment, and I am happy to say that we will now enjoy the pair every Monday.

If we were actually having coffee today I would tell you how happy I was that we actually got trick or treaters last night! We live in an apartment complex with a gate code, so we didn’t get any last year, but a few of kids did come knock on our door this year. I gave them all of our candy on accident because I was so excited that they were there.

If we were really having coffee together today, I would tell you how happy I am that Glee is finally back on tonight. It’s been too long.

I know that we aren’t really having coffee today, but if you ever do want to get coffee, just let me know. Maybe if you live in the area {LA or Ventura county}, we could really make it happen.

And I’m planning a Christmas wish list link up the first week of December. Be excited, and get your lists ready!

We should totally get coffee sometime. Since I do live in the area :) But we should probably wait for the red cups, because those just make me happy. Can't wait for the link up!!

Grilled cheese night sounds like the best idea ever! I've been wanting to do a mexican night at my flat for awhile now since South Africans don't get mexican food.

I'm going to be in Cali for 2 weeks in December and then we should totally meet up for a starbucks christmas-themed coffee :)

Starbucks red cups are my FAVORITE! Last year, my boyfriend got me one of the reusable coffee cups that had the red cup design :) Red cups all year long!

Love this virtual coffee date! And your grilled cheese sandwiches sound incredible! Also, I am so excited for Glee too!! It really has been too long! I probably won't be able to watch it until tomorrow but I'm excited that it's back nonetheless! :] Oh, and we got our first trick-or-treaters last night! It was so much fun but we handed out way too much to each person and ran out really fast! Haha.
