This weekend felt a lot longer than it really was.
Friday was spent at home, eating dinner and working on our respective projects {I finally ordered business cards!}.
Saturday morning we were up early so that we could drive down to Orange County. That’s when it really got busy. We visited my mom at her store, did a little shopping in the mall, and went to visit a possible venue for my mom’s birthday party next month.
In the evening, we got to celebrate the marriage of one of my oldest friends.
Isn’t she gorgeous in that picture?! And that Diet Coke print? Yeah, I made that…
We left a little early so that Robert, my brother, and I could hurry over to Irvine to see one of my favorite bands play. I’ve seen Incubus twice already, but they were just as amazing as I remember! For lawn seats {only $15 tickets}, our view was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. And we were able to skip out of that a little early so that we weren’t stuck in the parking lot for two hours {if you ever go to the Verizon Amphitheater for a concert, be prepared to sit in traffic for a very. long. time.}.
And then we got slushes {and tots} from Sonic. Delicious.
Sunday I went to breakfast with the parents {and brother} and then met up with some bloggers for my very first blogger meet up! There will be a longer post to come {one with pictures}, but we visited a pumpkin patch, and then went back to Julie’s house for some yummy cupcakes and mimosas. Fun times!
And now we’re home, relaxing while watching the X Factor. Overall, an amazing weekend!
