{home office}

Robert and I are hoping to move in May when our lease is up, and in true Joelle fashion, I’m already dreaming up my next home. More specifically, with this little venture of mine, it’s safe to say that a home office is going to be relatively important. We definitely need at least two bedrooms, and they would need to be larger since we both would use {and share} an office.

Here are a few ideas that I have right now:

The colors are all wrong, but you get the basic idea. I’m thinking of one navy wall {the rest would be white}, with a chevron rug and yellow curtains.

Curtains

{rug, curtains}

I also like the positioning of that desk, away from the wall instead of against the wall. Like this one:

I also love the look of a dresser or buffet behind the desk too. It’s extra storage space, as well as something pretty to look at.

As for artwork behind my desk, I’m thinking of channeling my teenage years, and just doing a bulleting board with my favorite inspiration.

Do you have a home office space? What does it look like? Is there anything that you have to have with your office?

{I know that I’ve written about this a lot, and I’ll probably write more about it in the future. It’s just important!}

I'm a big fan of the bulletin board! Such a fun outlet for things that inspire you!

Ooo love the idea of navy and yellow! And I also like the thought of a desk in the middle of the room.

Right now Jurgen and I also share our home office and it's pretty blad. Were also hoping to make a move this year and then I'm hoping to spruce it up a bit :)

I'm still putting together my office/craft space, but I have many, many ideas that need to be put to good use before I drown in the chaos!

I am currently in the process of getting our home office/sewing space together. Like yourself my husband and I will share. I pinned those Anthro curtains - they are gorgeous. They will look perfect in my new space.

I love the idea of navy walls and chevron rug! I def think positioning the desk to face outward is a great idea! It's the most 'feng shui' :)

The second to the last photo is more appealing to me though. I also loved the cluttered yet edgy feel of the last home office idea. Good luck!
