Happy Friday friends! Are you ready for happy hour? I am definitely getting a drink after work today, even if I’m drinking it by myself…
Classic Mojito
Juice from 1 lime (about an ounce)
1-2 teaspoons of sugar
7-10 mint leaves
2 ounces rum
Splash club soda
Dash of bitters
There are a few different ways to make a mojito, but I {meaning my husband} likes to build it in the glass and avoid any type of shaking. Place the lime, sugar, and mint leaves in the bottom of the glass and gently muddle. Add in a generous amount of ice and add your rum. Stir it with a spoon and add more ice. Top with club soda and a dash of bitters.
