Well, I’m back. Did you miss me?
I missed all of you, but this week definitely flew by. It’s a good thing I told you in advance that I wouldn’t be able to post, because I was up to my ears in things to do.
What, might you ask? Well, if you insist…
{1) Have you all heard of the Cream? If not, it was an amazing wedding show in Culver City this past Thursday. Some truly amazing vendors were there, like 100 Layer Cake, BHLDN, my friend Heather from Twig and Twine, Rue Magazine, Pharmacie Cocktails, and Found Vintage Rentals. I won tickets last minute from Grey Likes Weddings, and I’m so glad I got to go! I spent the evening sipping cocktails, mingling with friends, and getting free stuff. Who doesn’t love free stuff!
{2} I got my birthday present from my best friend on Friday, and I am so excited about it! I’ve been considering Birchbox for a while, but I was so surprised when I found the pink package on my doorstep. The blue nail polish is my favorite, but the Juicy Couture perfume smells pretty good too!
{3} Friday night, Robert and I desperately needed to get out of the house. So, we did what any sane couple would do on a Friday evening: go to happy hour. My cheap, margarita from a mix was exactly what the doctor ordered.
{4} Today was the big day! You may or may not know that I’ve been planning a huge photoshoot for my wedding business, and today it came to be. Let me just say that I’m over the moon about it and all the amazing vendors involved, and I can’t wait to show you all the finished product!
I hope you all had an amazing weekend as well, and I’m so excited to get back into the swing of things! And I want to apologize now if I have been melodramatic and insecure on this blog recently. I guess we all have our moments, and I’ve been just very overwhelmed with life these days. This break has given me a chance to breathe and think things over, and I realized that there really isn’t a reason for me to be so stressed. This blog is doing amazing and my business is coming along. There are details to figure out and nail down, decisions to be made, and some refurbishment to do, but for now I’m happy. Promise.

Looks like you had a fabulous week-end! I am so happy you feel better, you's right we all go through phases of doubt and feel insecure at some stage, it's human. The most important is to start again!!
